Vaultlens inspects your Obsidian vaults stored in iCloud Drive — vault health, structure, activity, and AI-agent-editing signals — without opening Obsidian and without your files ever leaving your device.
How do I add a vault?
Tap ＋ on the Vaults screen and pick your vault's folder (usually iCloud Drive → Obsidian). Vaultlens remembers it securely for next time.
Why does it need access to my files?
To read file metadata (and, for deep-scan features, note text) so it can compute your vault's stats. It only ever accesses folders you explicitly pick.
Does my data leave my device?
No. Vaultlens has no network connection at all — no servers, analytics, or uploads. Everything is computed locally. See the Privacy Policy.
What's included in Pro?
The free tier gives you a single-vault metadata dashboard. Pro unlocks multi-vault comparison, Home Screen & Lock Screen widgets, the deep-scan link engine and graph, agent-signal detection, the vault health score, and Shortcuts/App Intents.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or in Vaultlens under Settings → Manage Subscription. Cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period.
I paid but Pro isn't showing / I got a new phone.
Open Settings → Restore Purchases in Vaultlens. This re-checks your active subscription with Apple.
My widget isn't updating.
Open the app and let it rescan the pinned vault — widgets refresh from the latest in-app scan. Make sure the vault is still accessible in iCloud.
A vault shows "lost access" or won't scan.
iCloud occasionally invalidates a folder bookmark (e.g. after moving the folder). Remove and re-add the vault to re-grant access.
